What you'll do:
As a Full Stack Shopify Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's ecommerce presence. You will be responsible for hiring new engineers in Vietnam and building robust ecommerce experiences on Shopify. Your expertise will be crucial in upskilling engineers globally and interacting with clients to guide them in setting up their ecommerce sites. Collaborating with technologists worldwide, you will contribute towards solving complex problems and facilitating discussions about software architecture.
- Support with recruiting new engineers in Vietnam.
- Building ecommerce experiences on Shopify using themes and sometimes headlessly.
- Upskilling engineers around the world.
- Interacting with clients to help them make the right choices in setting up their ecommerce site.
- Collaborating with technologists around the world to solve problems.
- Facilitating discussions about software architecture.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Fullstack Shopify Engineer role brings a wealth of experience from a software engineering environment. With at least 5 years under your belt, you have honed your skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.JS. Your proficiency extends to working with GraphQL and RESTful API’s as well as HTML, CSS, & JS frameworks like React, Vue, Tailwind. Fluent English communication skills are essential for this role as you will be interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years working in a software engineering environment.
- Experience with Shopify and its APIs.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.JS.
- Experience working with GraphQL and RESTful API’s.
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, & JS frameworks like React, Vue, Tailwind.
- Fluent English communication skills.
