Our client is seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to join their team based in Ho Chi Minh City. This role will be pivotal in overseeing the financial reporting, planning, and analysis to support management with decision-making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage and develop the finance analysis & business partnering team, building strong partnerships with other key stakeholders within the business.
What you'll do:
- Develop and deliver accurate financial plans, budgets, and forecasts while collaborating with departments to meet submission deadlines.
- Identify and analyse variances between actual and forecasted results, budgets, and prior year performance.
- Collaborate with business partners in management meetings and work with other departments to optimise costs and efficiency.
- Supervise the finance team to ensure timely and compliant reports adhering to the Group’s standards.
- Monitor departmental costs to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Provide training and development to finance staff, establishing annual KPIs and talent development plans.
- Support with internal controls, addressing weaknesses and assisting in resolving audit issues.
- Handle other ad-hoc requests relating to financial reporting and analysis.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA is preferred.
- 12-15 years of work experience, including at least 3-5 years in team management roles.
- Solid experience in finance and accounting at a large manufacturing and production environment required.
- Experience in FMCG multinational companies is an advantage.
- High proficiency in SAP required, with hands-on experience with IFRS reporting processes.
- Ability to navigate around pressure and tight deadline environments.
- Mature atittude, with excellent communication and stakeholders' management skills.
