Enterprise Applications Analyst
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Enterprise Applications Analyst to join the A&O Shearman Belfast office. If you have experience with application support and cloud platforms, we would love to hear from you!
What you will do
As an Enterprise Apps Analyst, you are accountable for implementing A&O Shearman's strategy, architecture, standards and roadmaps. Providing a single point of technical leadership on projects, you will lead the technical decision making and ensure that services are effectively delivered, understood and supported so that they fulfil business needs.
This will include:
Application management: Install, configure and implement applications on Windows server OS.
Application development: Research and evaluate new software and prepare technical specifications against requirements.
Database management: Creating, maintaining, monitoring and alerting of MS SQL databases and SQL replication.
Deployment : Planning and deploying MS SQL and application updates through change and release processes.
Troubleshooting: Problem-solving to both resolve immediate issues but also to learn lessons and improve for the future.
Improvements: Analysing performance data to identify improvement areas for MS SQL databases and/or application services.
Scripting: Automation via scripting through the use of various scripting languages (PowerShell/Bash/SQL).
Cloud: Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
Monitoring: Use of monitoring and alerting tools such as ELK or similar.
Collaboration: Creating technical documentation to educate team members of all levels.
Communication: Providing sound and clear technical information to management at all levels.
Develop and maintain automated deployment and testing processes
Develop and maintain automated testing systems to ensure code changes do not impact system performance or reliability
Conduct detailed postmortems and root cause analysis postmortems and root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of system issues and implement corrective actions to prevent them from happening again
What you will have
Minimum 2/3 years IT experience with at least 1 years’ experience in a 3rd line role
Experience working within the professional services sector
Experience with application support and cloud computing platforms
Detailed practical knowledge of the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure and services within a Microsoft technology environment.
You will stand out if you bring
Experience with the Elite 3e application.
Experience with the Intapp suite of applications (Open/Conflicts/Walls).
Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or related role.
