What you'll do:
As a Regional Environment Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's environmental strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the deployment and governance of long-term environmental strategies in line with business objectives. You will guide Country Leads with carbon and water roadmaps, propose projects that move the organisation towards its goals more reliably, design environment programs across APS, promote optimal environmental performance, review legislative changes, lead risk assessments, partner with stakeholders to develop best practices, implement performance tracking tools, support data reporting for ESG reports. Your work will have a direct impact on how the company meets its commitments and public objectives defined in its strategy.
- Guide Country Leads with 2030 - 2040 carbon and water roadmaps.
- Propose and lead projects to ensure more reliable and safe progress towards established objectives.
- Design and coordinate the rollout of Environment programs across APS.
- Promote and optimise the Environmental performance of the business.
- Review legislative changes, franchise owner requirements, and customer expectations, updating the Environment strategy as necessary.
- Lead environmental risks assessments and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential gaps and develop industry Best Practices.
- Implement the Dashboard/Scorecard that allows monitoring of evolution and performance of APS CSSC.
- Support timely and quality data reporting for the preparation of the ESG report.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Regional Environment Lead role brings a wealth of experience in environment management roles with multinational scope. You possess strong digital acumen coupled with a data-driven mindset. Your expertise extends to carbon footprint calculation, water management, waste management, sustainable packaging knowledge. You are proficient in computer tools management (windows tools) with advanced use of PowerPoint. Experience with SAP is highly valued. A Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science/ Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Agriculture) is required, along with a minimum of 10 years in an Environment management role.
