Hanoi - Highly regulated industry
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager in Corporate Affairs to join their team in Hanoi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the overall country regulatory affairs agenda, promote the corporate profile to all levels of governmental stakeholders, and support stakeholder reputation management projects. The successful candidate will have the chance to work in a dynamic environment, where they can make a significant impact on the company's reputation and relationships with key stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Manage the overall country regulatory affairs agenda, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Promote the corporate profile to all levels of governmental stakeholders, maintaining a positive company reputation among investors and preferred partners.
- Support the team in Corporate & Regulatory Affairs in planning and implementing stakeholder reputation management projects.
- Analyse current public policy and regulatory environments, identifying risks and opportunities that could affect the company.
- Manage relationships with government authorities, securing endorsements for company activities.
- Provide regulatory advice and obtain government licenses for commercial departments in project works.
- Provide primary business intelligence on marketing activities from government sources and secondary intelligence on market and business development of competitors.
What you bring:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in government relations at a management level within a multinational FMCG company or for a highly regulated industry.
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience working with government agencies.
- Understanding of legal systems.
- Excellent commercial acumen.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication skills
