Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
The Finance Manager (Finance, Payroll & Admin) will report directly to the Managing Director (expat) with a dotted line to the Regional Finance Director based overseas. The successful candidate will lead and manage the local accounting and admin team, ensuring efficient financial, accounting, payroll, and administrative processes. This person will ensure compliance with Group standards, local regulatory requirements, and strategic goals while supporting decision-making with accurate financial information.
What you'll do:
Accounting, Tax and Statutory Compliance
- Ensure accurate financial records in compliance with local laws and Group policies.
- Oversee tax filings, audits, and statutory requirements, collaborating with external auditors to meet deadlines.
- Ensure the effective use of ERP systems for accounting and financial management.
Financial Controlling and Reporting
- Provide timely financial reports to management, analyzing variances and performance.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and receivables to optimize financial performance.
- Oversee period-end closing processes, ensuring Group reporting deadlines are met.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasts in line with Group objectives.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Credit and treasury management, internal controls
- Oversee credit management, optimizing cash flow through effective receivables control.
- Ensure timely cash flow forecasts and liquidity management in line with corporate guidelines.
- Monitor internal controls, assess risks, and ensure compliance with Group financial procedures.
Payroll and administration, HR
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and Group policies.
- Oversee employee benefits and statutory obligations related to payroll.
Team management and communication with Group
- Lead and coordinate the local finance team, ensuring alignment with both local and Group policies.
- Define roles, set performance targets, and manage recruitment in line with corporate standards.
- Communicate with local and HQ management to ensure smooth information flow and address any risks.
What you birng:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. MBA degree is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of work experience in a similar position of a manufacturing company, preferably in a multinational environment (with Group’s reporting structure).
- Solid experience in full scope of back-office support functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, tax, internal controls, treasury management; as well as payroll and admin.
- High proficiency in Excel and Microsoft AX ERP systems.
- Strong analytical mindset, with good communication in both Vietnamese and English (written and verbal fluency).
