As a Regional Commercial Finance Controller, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of the organisation. You will be tasked with collaborating closely with senior management to break down AOP targets and monitor key performance indicators. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you identify cost-saving opportunities and manage margins. You will also provide valuable financial insights to regional management, build business cases, and lead pricing process improvements. Your ability to deliver data analytics will support sales, gross profit, pricing, and cost accuracy.
- Collaborate with VPs and Sales Directors to break down AOP targets and track KPIs
- Monitor business contribution, manage margins, and find cost-saving opportunities
- Provide country-level sales, GP, and cost transparency
- Review non-legal aspects of commercial contracts
- Deliver data analytics to support sales, GP, pricing, and cost accuracy
- Prepare forward-looking P&L statements
- Provide financial insights to regional management
- Build business cases and financial agreements
- Analyze pricing gaps and review strategic or high-volume pricing requests
- Lead pricing process improvements to enhance margins
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Regional Commerical Finance Controller position brings a wealth of experience in commercial roles across regions and complex supply chains. With a minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience, you have honed your advanced Excel skills and analytical capabilities. Your strong commercial insight allows you to make informed decisions even under ambiguity. You are goal-oriented with a drive to improve processes and innovate solutions. Your effective communication skills enable you to build relationships across diverse environments and influence your audience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or similar field; MBA/Chartered Accountant is a plus
- 10+ years post-qualification experience in a commercial/business role across regions and complex supply chains
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with Power BI preferred
- Strong commercial and financial insight
