On behalf of our client, we are in search of a committed Service Manager (Contract) to become part of their ECS Delivery Centre team. In this capacity, your responsibility will encompass the comprehensive management of designated managed services, enhancing customer experience by managing provider relationships and ensuring operational excellence.
What you'll do:
As a Service Manager (Contract), your primary role will be to:
- Support, enhance and further develop the existing managed services.
- Communicate and maintain good relations with current providers.
- Monitor performance and KPI’s.
- Drive continuous improvement for the respective services.
- Be the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for escalations to the respective vendor.
- Apply your background in IT Infrastructure across different Data Center technologies.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Service Manager (Contract) position will:
- Degree in Computer Science or similar with focus on IT Infrastructure.
- At least 5 years of Experience supporting global IT Infrastructure Environments.
- Strong knowledge in Service Management.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer and service orientation.
- Computer room knowledge to keep and maintain computer rooms.
- Team oriented approach to work.
- Solid understanding of Linux, Windows, Vmware operating systems in a highly available environment
- Eagerness to grow by demonstrating an always learning culture
- Excellent spoken and written English.
