Our client is a reputable consulting firm, looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of a Cyber Incident Lead.
What you'll do:
- Oversee the end-to-end coordination of high-severity cybersecurity events, ensuring effective communication and response across all impacted teams.
- Act as a liaison between technical responders, executive leadership, legal, compliance, and communications teams during active events.
- Develop, maintain, and improve incident response protocols, escalation processes, and operational workflows.
- Lead and facilitate readiness exercises, such as simulations and scenario-based walkthroughs, with internal stakeholders.
- Provide real-time status reporting and decision support to executive leaders during impactful security events.
- Partner with security operations, threat intel, and risk teams to ensure the organization is prepared to manage significant incidents effectively.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Align security event response plans with business continuity and disaster recovery objectives.
What you'll bring:
- At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity particulary in incident response and cyber operations.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity incident lifecycle, threat actor tactics, and organizational risk exposure.
- Strong familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK and NIST.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical issues into business terms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive progress under pressure.
