Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive the growth of their Fire Suppression business in Singapore and Philippines. This role is perfect for an experienced sales professional with a focus on both Channel Sales and Outside Sales. You will be the main point of contact for prospective customers, developing professional relationships to understand their needs and suggest suitable products and services. Your ability to identify market opportunities for increased growth of business will be key in this role.
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth in Singapore and Philippines. You will spearhead the Fire Suppression Sales business, identifying market opportunities and implementing pricing strategies that align with customer requirements and business goals. Your responsibilities will also include identifying bid opportunities, participating in bid/quote preparation, evolving market segmentation & penetration strategies, achieving sales targets, and managing the pipeline to maximize revenue and profits.
- Spearhead the Fire Suppression Sales business for all of Singapore and Philippines
- Identify market opportunities for increased growth of business
- Design & implement appropriate pricing strategies to meet customer requirements and business goals
- Identify bid opportunities, participate in bid/quote preparation & sales strategy, and negotiate with potential customers to secure projects
- Evolve market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets
- Achieve sales target for assigned territory on quarterly basis
- Develop and manage the pipeline to maximize revenue and profits
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales, particularly within the Fire Suppression or industrial product sector. With at least 7 years of relevant experience under your belt, you have developed strong skills in customer engagement, market segmentation, bid management, and pricing strategy design. Your practical knowledge of fire suppression systems will be highly beneficial in this role.
- Advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree or equivalent combined with relevant experience
- A minimum of 7 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Practical knowledge of fire suppression systems is an asset
- Experience in Fire suppression or industrial product sales across Channel, Key Accounts or Direct customers is preferred
- Ability to act as the main contact for prospective customers, developing professional relationships to understand their needs and suggest suitable products
