Our client is seeking a dedicated Application and Infrastructure Support Analyst to join their team in Singapore. This role is perfect for individuals with strong communication skills who are keen to apply their technical expertise in supporting trading and middle-office applications. As part of a global IT support team, you will provide first-line IT support for all users and systems in the Singapore office, monitor overnight batches running in London, and support proprietary applications developed in Python and C#. What you'll do:
As an Application and Infrastructure Support Analyst, your role will be pivotal in providing first-line IT support across all users and systems within the Singapore office. You will have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise in supporting trading and middle-office applications while also developing your skills with Python, SQL, FIS Front Arena, and C#. Your responsibilities will extend from troubleshooting application issues to participating actively in Business Continuity planning. You will also play a key role in upholding cybersecurity standards while managing a complex application suite.
- Provide 1st line support for all aspects of IT in the Singapore office
- Offer remote 1st line IT support for users in Tokyo and Hong Kong offices, as needed
- Act as the first line of defence for L1/L2 application issues, troubleshooting and resolving them promptly
- Detailed analysis of issues that need escalation to L3
- Learning the financial products and business operations happening at the company
- Creating and enhancing monitoring dashboards using Grafana and metric driven alerting
- Actively participate in Business Continuity planning and testing for the Singapore office
- Coordinate and undertake desk moves
- Day to day management of a complex application suite, improving stability and performance over time
